What is Twilingua?

Twilingua is a language learning app that teaches Spanish through podcast-style episodes about real news stories. Each episode features bilingual hosts who switch between English and Spanish, so you learn naturally in context.

How do I create an account?

Open the app and sign up with your email address, Apple ID, or Google account. Your progress syncs automatically across devices.

How do I save words?

While listening to an episode, tap any Spanish word in the transcript. A popup will show the translation — tap it to save the word to your vocabulary list. You can review saved words anytime in the Words tab.

What are the difficulty levels?

Episodes are tagged with CEFR levels (A1–C2). Start with A2 or B1 if you're a beginner, and work your way up. The Browse tab lets you filter episodes by level.

Can I listen offline?

Yes. Tap the download icon on any episode to save it for offline listening. Downloaded episodes include the full transcript.

How do flashcards work?

Go to the Words tab and tap Practice. Flashcards use spaced repetition — words you find difficult appear more often, and words you know well are shown less frequently.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile > Delete Account, or visit our account deletion page for instructions. All your data will be permanently removed.

The app isn't working correctly. What should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app, or check that you have a stable internet connection. If the issue persists, email us at twilingua@phiture.com with a description of the problem and your device model.
