3.1 Data Storage

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure, open-source backend platform. Our Supabase instance is hosted in the European Union (EU) region, ensuring your data benefits from the protections of EU data protection regulations.

3.2 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL)
Encryption at rest
Row-level security policies on all database tables
Secure authentication via Supabase Auth

4. Analytics

We use Amplitude for analytics to understand how users interact with the App. Amplitude collects anonymized usage data including:

Screen views and navigation patterns
Feature usage frequency
Session duration and retention
Aggregate learning outcome metrics

5.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for operating the App:

Supabase — data storage and authentication
Amplitude — analytics
Expo / EAS — app distribution and over-the-air updates
RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. When we transfer data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
